Information Collection And Use
eNotify is software, that allows users to integrate and manage their online communications, including email and other types of text messaging. Each eNotify user chooses which online accounts he or she wishes to access using eNotify.
When you set up eNotify to access your email account, you will need to enter information and credentials for that account, such as your name, email address, and password. eNotify stores this information on your mobile device.
In addition to your credentials, eNotify needs certain Non-Personal, technical information from your account providers to configure each email account you use. eNotify stores other information on your mobile device, including copies of your email messages. eNotify stores this information locally on your mobile device and does not transmit it except to accessories such as smartwatches and other connected devices.
eNotify attempts to make a direct local connection from your mobile device to your remote mail server. The processing of mail retrieved from your remote mail server is performed locally on the device. The user must ensure that the network, mail server and device are secure.
eNotify stores private information in a local database. The information is required to implement features including but not limited to: notifications, commands, message viewing & history. The information includes, but is not limited to: senders, recipients, subjects and message contents. Information judged to be private is usually encrypted by us however it is not guaranteed to be encrypted. eNotify collects logging data to allow users to diagnose problems with the app. The logs are collected locally on the device. They may be stored both in memory and/or on the SD card depending on app options. Message details may be contained in the logs.
We do not typically store logging data on our servers, however you may send logs to Verietas Software by selecting the email option on the 'View Logs' page. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the logs sent to us do not contain any private information. Logs that you send to us may be stored on our servers to help improve eNotify in the future.
